ABOUT APPLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT
The application development group focuses on large software implementations including Epic, Cerner, Lawson, and hundreds of other critical applications in use by our hospitals and ambulatory sites. Partnering with operations, we analyze, implement, support, maintain, and optimize tools that our team members use every day to care for our community.
WHAT WE DO
We can guarantee that days will be challenging, and that there are new things to learn every day here at UMMS. While a lot of the application teams focus on large enterprise implementations of software products such as Epic, Cerner, Lawson and others, there are also hundreds of other applications that are in use by the UMMS hospitals and ambulatory sites. We are a group of talented application resources that work very closely with one another to insure that the technology and services provided meet the expectations of our customers. Ultimately, the goal is to provide value to patients, clinicians, employees, suppliers, and others. If you enjoy being challenged, UMMS is a great place to work!

It is the time when we see the coordination of months of effort (meetings, analysis, programming work) meld into a real-life solution with people across the IT and direct health care groups.
