As a member of the University of Maryland Medical System Towson Sports Medicine (TSM) is a premier provider of outpatient therapy services. TSM is a highly reputable Outpatient Orthopedic therapy provider with strong ties to the community. Our physical therapists focus on providing high quality patient-oriented care in a great working environment. We have highly experienced staff with low turnover and work in close contact to some of the best orthopedic doctors in the state.
Work Schedule: Some flexibility to accommodate needs however it will be 3 evenings a week.
Monday 1:30p -7p
Tuesday 8:00a-7:00p
Wednesday 9:00a – 7:00p
Thursday 7:30a – 5:00p
Friday 7:30a – 1p
I. General Summary
Assists in delivering patient care in the rehabilitation setting under direct supervision as described in State of Maryland Practice Acts.
II. Principal Responsibilities and Tasks
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties performed by personnel so classified.
- Prepares and maintains treatment areas and equipment to adhere to appropriate infection control standards, as well as maintains logs to assure compliance.
- Assists the licensed clinicians in the delivery of patient care as permitted by State of Maryland Practice Acts.
- Assists front office and clinicians with routine clerical tasks to support the patient care process.
- Monitors and maintains inventory to assure adequate supplies.
- Demonstrates patient-centered care and service.
III. Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current ACLS or BCLS certification
