UM Upper Chesapeake Health (UMUCH), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has a full-time employed position available for a Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner to join their practice located in Bel Air, MD.
Nurse Practitioner Job Specifics:
- Position will manage and treat patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary hypertension (PH) and other conditions of the lung.
- Inpatient and outpatient-based position
- Collaborative, supportive team comprised of physicians, advanced practice providers, pulmonary function technicians, medical assistants and administrative support staff.
- Adult gerontology, primary care, or acute care certified NP’s preferred.
- Physician Assistants (PA-C) are welcome to apply.

Education and Experience
- Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program required.
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner required.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
- Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in urgent care or emergency medicine required
- DEA and CDS eligible.
