Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: 

Functioning under limited supervision and reporting to the Director of Facilities, the Manager, Facilities is responsible for establishing and overseeing policies, procedures, standards, and objectives for the department that are consistent with organization’s goals, while maintaining 24-hour accountability for operations of the department. 

 

 

 

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Education & Training: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, required. Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.

 

Work Orientation & Experience: 

  • 5 years progressively responsible experience in facility maintenance, plant operations, or construction, required. 2 years’ lead or supervisory experience, required. Healthcare experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities: 

  • Trades skills a plus but not required.  Must possess management decision making abilities.  Ability to manage multiple skills and functions.  Accountable to 24/7 operation.  Able to use a personal computer to assist in documentation of work as well as creating work schedules, tasks and routine communications.
