Option #3 Commitment: Unit-Based RN work – 48 hours every 4 weeks ($45/hr), including 3/12-hour weekend shifts/ 4 weeks, one major holiday and two difficult to fill shifts.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements
- An Associate Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor of Science from a College of Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- BSN is required within 5 years from date of hire or transfer into a Clinical Nursing position.
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse licensure is required prior to beginning orientation.
- At least 1 year of RN experience is required.
- Professional Certification is highly encouraged.
- If there is gap in applied nursing experience of 5 years or more, successful completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months is required.
Qualifications
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required upon hire.
- Must meet all unit specific certification requirements: (PALS, ACLS, NRP).
- Ability to learn and use computer systems to manage patient information.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
