Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Attraction: Utilize various channels to proactively attract entry-level talent and front-line workers, including job fairs, social media, and partnerships with educational institutions.
  • Professional Development Support: Provide ongoing support to new hires, facilitating orientations, training programs, and mentorship opportunities to foster their professional growth.
  • Integration into Workforce: Ensure a smooth transition for new staff into UMMC, helping them understand their roles, the organization’s values, and how they contribute to our mission.
  • Collaboration with Departments: Work closely with department leaders to identify staffing needs and strategically align recruitment efforts to meet these needs, enhancing operational efficiency and patient care.
  • Retention Initiatives: Implement strategies to encourage job satisfaction and long-term engagement among entry-level and front-line staff.
  • Performance Monitoring: Evaluate the performance and development of new hires, providing constructive feedback and additional support to promote success within the organization.
  • Administrative Duties and Data Entry: Manage administrative tasks related to internal and external enrollment processes, maintaining accurate documentation and compliance through efficient data entry.
  • Community Engagement: Foster relationships with community groups and educational institutions to promote healthcare career opportunities at UMMC, increasing our outreach and impact in the community.

Qualifications

What We Need From You:

  • Education: A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: At least two years of positively referenced work, student, or volunteer experience.
  • Licensing: A valid driver’s license with 3 points or less, andaccess to an insured vehicle.
  • Administrative Proficiency: Ability to perform administrative tasks and data entry related to enrollment requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
