Some programs we run in the community include:
- Mama & Baby Bus program
- The Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) Care Program
- Living Well Workshop
- Working with various weekend food distribution programs – Baltimore Hunger Project, Student Support Network, Firehouse Subs, Hungry Harvest, Y of Central Maryland
- Blood drives
- Partnering with the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc Anne County to hold screenings, education, and other resources to encourage women of color to take charge of their breast health
- Senior University – Education for seniors on topics such as finances, safety, and health.
The UMMS Mentorship Program offers an opportunity for a collaborative relationship between a mentor and mentee where both parties can professionally grow through mutual goals and shared accountability.
