5:00AM-5:00PM VARIOUS 8HR OR 10HR SHIFTS

General Summary 

Under limited supervision, provides comprehensive administrative support for all departmental operations and administrative requirements. Overseas inventory, supports space-planning projects and tracks department budget. 

Qualifications

Qualifications 

High School diploma or equivalent is required. College-level courses in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing and Mathematics preferred. Knowledge of products used in the health care industry preferred. Verbal ability is required to interface with various levels of hospital staff and sales representatives. Numerical ability is required to mentally calculate price ranges, discounts and arithmetic estimates. Clerical ability is required to enter purchase orders and for inventory control purposes. Must be capable of sound business practices. Must have the capacity to exercise judgment and prioritize workload. 

Working Conditions 

The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the encompassing noise level. There are possible chemical hazards. The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, and dust. There is potential for minimal exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials, requiring the observance of Standard Precautions and safe handling practices.  This position has been classified as low or no exposure risk and does not require the completion of an annual testing, but may require “just in time” testing if the need arises. 

Physical Requirements 

While the employee is performing the job he/she is required to sit and occasionally walk, stand, bend, ascend/descend stairs, reach, lift 20-35 pounds, carry 10-20 pounds, or push/pull 75-100 pounds.
