Job Description

We are seeking an organized and efficient Office Coordinator I to join our Community Psychiatry team in Maryland Line, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth operations of our community psychiatry department.

  • Manage daily office operations and coordinate administrative activities
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, maintaining an efficient calendar system
  • Process and maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Coordinate communication between staff, departments, and external healthcare partners
  • Handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Manage office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Process incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Assist with data entry and report generation
  • Support medical staff with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience required
  • Healthcare office experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office procedures
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with scheduling software and office management systems

Pay Range: $17.68-$24.76
