If there is a good match between your background and the job requirements, the recruiting team will contact you directly. However, the timeframe depends on the position and the number of applicants.

You can always check the status of the jobs to which you’ve successfully applied by logging into your account.

Advanced Practice Provider – Nurse Practitioner, Physican Assistant, CRNA

Allied Health – Social Workers, Respiratory, Rehab, Imaging, Pharmacy

Clerical – Administrative and clerical roles like Registrars, Admin Assistants, Unit Clerks, etc.

Information Technology – All jobs relating to Information Technology.

Management – Manager level roles and above.

Nursing – Registered Nurses, LPNs, Nurse Managers, Charge Nurse and other leadership roles in nursing.

Nursing Support – PCTs, CNAs, Medical Assistants, Companions, Sitters, etc.

These issues are often related to the computer/device you are using to apply and not the application itself. You can do a few things to ensure you don’t run into any technical issues:

1. Make sure you are using a supported web browser that is up-to-date.
2. Clear the cache/browser history for your web browser.
3. Completely shut down and reboot your computer/device.

My application keeps timing out. What should I do?2021-03-18T21:02:34+00:00

There is a timer at the top of the application. You have 20 minutes to complete each page before it times out. You can save your progress as you go if you need longer to fill out the application.  Just click the Save button at the bottom of the application.

Go to jobs.umms.org and click on the ‘View Internal Jobs’ link beneath the video to view all openings.

No. The Talent Community is a different system that allows candidates to express an interest in UMMS and sign up for email alerts on the latest openings. If you want to apply, you’ll need to create a candidate profile and submit an application for a specific position.

Utilize the link within the application received email to access positions you’ve applied to and your profile.

Visit jobs.umms.org. In the search bar at the top of the page, you can search by keywords, job title, UMMS member organization, city, or job category.

Once you’ve applied, you will receive an email with the subject ‘Thank you for applying to University of Maryland Medical System’ and will come from notifications@smartrecruiters.com. This email will confirm your application was received. You may also contact our Candidate Care Center: 1-443-675-6795.

No, employees are not required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide proof of vaccination.
