Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Ambulatory Application System Analyst III to join our healthcare technology team in Columbia, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing ambulatory healthcare applications while ensuring compliance with Promoting Interoperability and Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) requirements.

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of ambulatory healthcare applications and systems
  • Monitor and maintain Promoting Interoperability, MIPS, and other regulatory reporting program compliance
  • Develop and execute MIPS reporting strategies to ensure accurate quality measure documentation
  • Analyze system performance and recommend improvements for enhanced efficiency
  • Configure and customize healthcare applications to meet specific organizational needs
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ambulatory applications
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for system processes and workflows
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to understand and implement workflow requirements
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Lead training sessions for end-users on system updates and new features

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare IT, with focus on ambulatory systems
  • Proven experience with Promoting Interoperability programs and MIPS reporting
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and compliance standards
  • Extensive experience in healthcare application configuration and optimization
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and healthcare IT applications
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting
  • Strong project management and documentation abilities
  • Experience in training and supporting end-users
  • Healthcare IT certifications preferred
  • EpicCare Ambulatory certification 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
