University of Maryland Medical System- Midtown Campus is seeking candidates for its 2018-2019 Student Nurses Internship Program (SNIP). This program is for nursing students completing their sophomore and junior year as of May 2018. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to gain valuable work experience while finishing school.
•SNIP participants hold paid positions on hospital inpatient units;
•Participants will be paired with preceptors and receive real world on the job experience;
•SNIPs have the opportunity to develop professional working relationships while in school;
•After the successful completion of their internship, participants are offered an opportunity to interview for a position on their unit.
•Must have and maintain a minimum of GPA of 2.5
•CNA certified as of May 30, 2018
•Current CPR Card with American Heart Association
•Available to work full time 36- 40 hours per week in the summer and semester break and a minimum of 16 hours and maximum of 32 hours/month during the school year semester.
