The Yoga Therapist is responsible for providing Yoga therapy classes to patients to ensure a holistic
approach to health and well being while maintaining patient safety.

Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services, requirements and competency evaluations on
Works collaboratively and supports efforts of team members. Demonstrates exceptional customer service and
interacts effectively with physicians, patients, residents, visitors, staff and the broader health care community.
Ensures class sizes and individual spacing of participants
are appropriate to ensure a safe, customer-oriented environment. Responsible for
ensuring all equipment required for classes is set-up before and put away after each
class. Responsible for documenting group participation and attendance in the
electronic medical record. Reports any unusual circumstances to the nursing staff.
Responsible for maintaining that exercises are executed correctly and without injury.
