UM Rehab & Ortho is currently seeking a Case Management Manager/Utilization Review

  • Under general direction, provides administrative management and direction to the Case Management/Utilization Review department. 
  • Establishes goals, objectives and standards of performance. 
  • Develops and implements operating policies and procedures; interprets and ensures compliance with policies, quality standards, regulations, and code established by UM Rehab as they relate to Case Management and Utilization Review. 
  • Consistently expresses and demonstrates compassion and courtesy for patients. Extends courtesy and support to patient's families/visitors.

What You Need to Be Successful:

BSN licensure in the State of Maryland or Compact License is required. 

Rehab experience strongly preferred. 

Minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible professional experience in Utilization Review/Case Management is required, plus a minimum of four years supervisory experience is required. 

Experience with budget management is required.

High level of proficiency in directing, monitoring, evaluating and motivating the performance of professional staff is required. 

Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements of regulatory and accreditation agencies and third-party guidelines and codes is required.
