RN/Neurology Ambulatory Nurse (RN/CN)
The University of Maryland, NeurologyCareCenter offers an opportunity for an experienced RN to provide comprehensive care for adults with all neurological conditions including Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke, neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, ALS, dystonia, tremor, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease, Huntington’s disease, headaches and other neurologic disorders.
Our neurologists are leaders in their subspecialty committed to providing the highest level of patient care. Other specialized services provided include: infusions, botulinum toxin injections, lumbar puncture, biopsies, EMG, and clinical trials. Our practice include:
Working in close collaboration with our multi specialty teams, the RN/CN is involved in the management of our ambulatory patients to ensure continuity of care by coordinating care services, advocacy, counseling, education, health promotion, and administration of specialized treatments. The position offers a full time, (100%), Monday – Friday daytime work schedule.
The successful candidate will hold Maryland licensure as an RN. A Bachelors in Nursing or a related field is preferred. At least two years of clinical experience in nursing is necessary. Flexibility, decision-making and a team oriented approach are key competencies in this role.
