One of 14 units in the world renowned R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Challenging care of the most critically ill patients in Maryland who have sustained multiple traumatic injuries or a severe life-threatening single system injury. Patients are transitioned to this specialty focused ortho trauma unit once more stable.
The University of Maryland Medical Center is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) with a desire to join our premier multidisciplinary team in our Shock Trauma Center Orthopaedic Acute Unit. Located at the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) in downtown Baltimore near the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards; you won't find a more vibrant place to work!
-Prior RN experience in Orthopaedics or trauma preferred
-Nursing Graduates: Sr practicum in Orthopaedic acute care unit preferred or student nurse in an orthopaedic setting
-Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred;
-Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to compact state requirements outlined by the Maryland Board of Nursing
