Prepares and portions salads and or desserts using planned menus, recipes and production sheets to proper portion sizes and quantity. Maintains safe and sanitary conditions in production area by cleaning equipment, counter, ovens and preparation area. Prepares daily salads and desserts items for Cafeteria according to daily rotation list. Maintains clean and orderly storage areas. Immediately and consistently covers, labels, and dates food and places them in designated cooler/storage areas. Completes production sheets after each meal and documents portion prepared, and leftovers. Replenishes food for Patient and Cafeteria area as needed.
What You Need to Be Successful:
3 years institutional cooking or restaurant experience. Special diets cooking preferred.
