What You Will Do:

UM Shore Regional Health, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking a General Surgery Nurse Practitioner to join a thriving practice. The practice will provide inpatient and outpatient services in Easton, Queenstown and Cambridge which are located on Maryland’s beautiful eastern shore.

 Job Specifics:

  • Seeking a highly energetic, self-starter Surgical NP that seeks independence in patient management and wants to work in a team. Will consider new grads.

  • Will be a 5 Surgeon practice

    • Currently  have 4 surgeons working together 2 in the practice and two private practice surgeons that are joining the group

    • Registered Nurse, Medical Assistant & Surgical Scheduler currently on staff

  • NP support in the practice; inpatient rounding & consults

  • New state of the art multispecialty facility

  • Access to da Vinci® Si Robot

  • Health system employee

  • Monday thru Friday

    • Possibility for additional earnings if on-call support is needed after hours

What You Need to Be Successful:

Education and Experience: 
  • Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program required.
  • Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner required. 
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
  • Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
  • Experience preferred, not required.
  • DEA and CDS eligible.
