Welcomes patients, visitors, guests and employees in a professional and courteous manner. Acts a customer service ambassador for Midtown Campus.
Represents the organization with a positive attitude. Maintains current knowledge of locations of all patient care service areas, departments, and services throughout the campus.
Escorts patients, and visitors as necessary to ensure they can easily navigate and arrive to their desired destination.
Provides wheelchair escort services to ambulatory patients who arrive at the hospital in need of such assistance.
Maintains inventory of wheelchairs dedicated for ambulatory transport, including appropriate cleaning between each use.
Communicates concerns and potential problems with customer service to the manager and assists with resolution as needed.
Assists the Service Excellence Manager with implementation of patient experience initiatives.
Participates in department meetings, in-service, and education meetings.
Helps maintain neatness of lobby and reception desk area.
Performs other duties and tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
What You Need to Be Successful:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. 2. Experience in customer service preferred.
