Registered Nurse (RN) - Radiation Oncology - FT/Day - UM @ BWMC
Full-time days, 40 hours per week
Monday - Friday, 8a - 5p
Fast-paced environment in facility offset from the main hospital
Opportunity to work with high acuity patients
Typical day involves wound and skin care, education, contrast administration
The center sees roughly 500 new patients annually; busiest Radiation Oncology center in the entire UMMS system
Average 48-50 patients per day, wide variety of patient demographics
Ability to work with a family-oriented, satisfied and hard-working team
Lots of opportunities for teambuilding inside work and outside of work
Frequest collaboration with UMMS network of Radiation Oncology Teams

Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing or found by the Board to be substantially equivalent to the programs in Maryland
Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Maryland (or eligible for same if nursing graduate)
Successful completion of a refresher course within past six (6) months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past five (5) years
1 year of Oncology or Radiation Oncology RN experience strongly preferred
Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required
Ideal candidate is used to a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with multi-tasking and is a self-starter
Previous experience using a business office suite, such as Microsoft Office, is required
