What You Will Do:

The Compliance & Privacy Analyst principle duties are planning, implementing and monitoring the Corporate Compliance Program by working with the Medical System Corporate Compliance & Business Ethics Group. The scope of work consists of auditing activities, effective communication of expectations vertically and horizontally throughout the hospital and medical system, and reporting results timely and transparently. Under general supervision, ensures compliance with all State and Federal through policy development, periodic reviews and education of staff.

What You Need to Be Successful:

-Bachelor’s degree required in HIM or other healthcare field strongly preferred.
-Must have a professional presence and the ability to communicate with all levels of staff including: physicians, executives, directors and clinicians.
-Must have demonstrated organization, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
-Must have general knowledge of HIPPA rules and at least three years related experience in a healthcare environment.
-The Compliance & Privacy Analyst will have skills and experience sufficient to identify potential issues within a variety of compliance areas (Finance, Utilization, Licensing, Funding, Policy, Contracts, Physician Practice Management, etc.).
-The Compliance & Privacy Analyst will be able to remain objective and function independently from other agency departments.
-Compliance & Privacy Analyst will be detail oriented and have experience with investigative and reporting procedure.
