We are looking for an Experienced Registered Nurse to join our Hyperbaric Chamber/Trauma ICU Team!
**must have 2 years Critical Care / Intensive Care Unit Experience and be Dive Certification eligible**
The Hyperbaric Chamber falls under the Department of Hyperbaric Medicine.
The unit is staffed with a rotation of five Emergency Medicine physicians, registered nurses, chamber operators and respiratory therapists.
Both inpatients and outpatients are treated in this specialty area. Indications for treatment include, but are not limited to: air embolism, gas gangrene, crush injury, compartment syndrome, acute peripheral ischemias, decompression sickness, enhanced healing in selected problem wounds, exceptional blood loss anemia, necrotizing soft tissue infections, osteomyelitis, delayed radiation injury, compromised skin grafts and flaps, carbon monoxide poisoning.
The chamber is open five days per week and available on off shifts/ weekends/ holidays for emergent treatment(s).
The Hyperbaric Chamber staff also provides consultation and education to various inpatient units regarding hyperbaric oxygen therapy and patient care requirements.

What You Need to Be Successful:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to compact state requirements outlined by the Maryland Board of Nursing
2-3 Years prior critical care/ICU, or similar experience required
Must attain Dive Certification within one year of hire
