Reporting to the President & Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Nursing Operations & CNO is responsible for complete oversight of the medical center's nursing operations, both inpatient and outpatient. He/She will provide strategic direction to the organization as it relates to regulatory compliance, evidence based practice and patient care.

What You Need to Be Successful:
Education & Licensure:
- Master’s Degree required.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland.
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience with financial management required.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in senior management/leadership required.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience with compliance/Regulatory agencies (Federal and State) to include Joint Commission required.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Ability to think and act in a strategic and conceptual manner
- Ability to use sound judgement and experience to plan and accomplish goals
- Ability to lead, coach and persuade others to accomplish projects
- Knowledge of performance improvement tools/techniques
- Superior interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
