What You Will Do:
Under the supervision of the Director of eCare, or designee performs delegated competency validated patient observation functions and applies technical skills of a limited uncomplicated nature. Remotely provides continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients using audio/visual technology. Verbally redirects the patient from engaging in risk behaviors. Following department procedures and escalation process, summons unit staff if the patient requires assistance a). Knowledgeable and supportive of patient and institutional confidentiality and related policies.
What You Need to Be Successful:
1. High School diploma or equivalent (GED). 2. Certified Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant preferred. 3. Current CPR certification required. 4. Basic computer operations skills required. 5. Six months of prior direct, patient care work experience in a health care facility is preferred.
