Under frequent supervision, the Radiology transporter will transport ill and injured patients to and from the Radiology Department. The Radiology transporter will assist physicians, Radiology/hospital staff and outpatients in a professional and courteous manner. The age of patients served includes Infant through Adult-Geriatric.
What You Need to Be Successful:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read and write, and possess ability to follow oral and written instructions, seeking guidance when appropriate. Current CPR certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required. Transporters will receive on-the-job training. Length of training period to be determined by Radiology administration.
