Under moderate supervision, the Radiological Technologist will perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. The employee will demonstrate a professional approach in their work, with emphasis on patient care and in their technical abilities to complete the requested exams promptly, while still maintaining patient safety. Be responsive in the need to use proper radiation safety principles, both for the safety of the patient as well as themselves and co-workers. Patients served include infant through adult-geriatric.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Graduation from an approved and accredited radiologic educational program required. Registration from the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists and license as a Radiological Technologist in the state of Maryland is required. Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
