What You Will Do:

  • Under limited supervision, the CT Technologist is responsible for diagnostic CT imaging, and/or radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
  • Will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative in applying technical imaging factors, and anatomical positions.
  • Will demonstrate a professional approach in his/her work, with emphasis on patient care, while still maintaining patient safety.
  • Be responsive in the need to use proper radiation safety principles, both for the safety of the patient, as well as themselves and co-workers.
  • Assume responsibility for designated area as required.
  • Patients served include infant through adult-geriatric.


What You Need to Be Successful:

  • High School diploma, or equivalent required.
  • Graduation from an approved and accredited radiology educational program required.
  • Registration from the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists
  • Licensed as a Radiological Technologist in the State of Maryland is required.
  • Current BLS certification, or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
