Shore Regional Health is seeking a Manager MRI & CT Services:
Directs and supervises performance of a group of employees engaged in similar functions and areas of responsibility. Develops, recommends, and implements policies and procedures. Translates the overall objectives set by higher management into individual and collective objectives for subordinates and develops plans for accomplishing them. Provides training and communicates information from higher management to employees. Assists the Director of Radiology Services and the Senior Vice President of Operations in accomplishing his/her twenty-four-hour responsibility for operation of area(s) of responsibility.
1. Supervises clinical staff at Shore Health System MRI and CT service locations as appropriate: evaluates performance; recommends personnel actions such as hiring, disciplinary actions, etc.; develops work schedules. 2. Prepares the annual budgets for assigned areas; monitors expenses and explains variances. 3. Assures compliance of staff with Health Systems policies and regulatory requirements. 4. Evaluates staffing and scheduling as needed to ensure uninterrupted services and supports changes in services and patient care demands. 5. Prepares and maintains various reports and statistics. Including but limited to: monthly volume statistics, productivity reports, quality assurance reports, etc. 6. Approves purchase of supplies for the department; supervises maintenance activities and quality control procedures for equipment. 7. Performs MRI and CT procedures, as needed. 8. Maintains current licensure and certifications. Participates in continuing education activities. 9. Assures staff compliance with safety and infection control policies and procedures. 10. Collaborates with physicians, and other system staff to resolve problems, and promotes harmonious relationships within the System.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Completion of a two-year AMA accredited program in Radiologic Technology. Current Registry as a Registered Radiology Technologist by the Association of Registered Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) with certification in MRI and CT. Minimum of four years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist, including at least one year of supervisory experience. Current State of Maryland Licensure as a Radiographer or eligibility. CPR certification. Bachelor’s degree in Radiological science preferred.
Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills.
